Council has a great opportunity to join the Finance team as the Finance Officer.
In this role you will be assisting the Finance team with budget reporting, cash collections and bank reconciliations, income accounting, recovery of outstanding accounts receivables, meeting compliance requirements and providing financial services and support to other departments of Council.
We are looking for someone that has finance/accounting experience with strong skills in Microsoft Office and has the ability to adapt and prioritise tasks on an ongoing basis.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this position you will need:
Certificate IV in Accounting or related qualification
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Current Class C Drivers Licence
Working With Children Check
You must have the right to live and work in Australia
Desirable Criteria
Local Government experience

The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 10 to 12 within Council’s salary structure.
The annual salary range is from $61,000 ($33/hr) to $70,000 ($38/hr). Starting salary offered to be determined dependent upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant
35 hour working week
