Ideal Candidate

Parker Anderson Instructor is an excellent position for the perfect candidate passionate about teaching and enriching youth. Candidates must possess leadership skills, be critical thinkers and be excellent communicators. A potential candidate must be available 3-4 days of the week with the hours of 1-5 pm.

This job is also great for anyone who has a passion for teaching and is open to learning. The outcome has great rewards working with children from various schools. We provide the training, curriculum, and support along the way.

Overview Expectations

Enrichment classes are available upon request from partnered Los Angeles area schools. Each instructor will be matched upon confirmed classes and requested desired location, classes, and weekly availability. Instructors will be scheduled with classes among that request.

Classes are confirmed for either 45 minutes or 1 hour during the weekday after-school hours (12-5 pm), primarily working with small groups mixed with K-5th grade students.

Pay Based On Enrollment

Although classes are within 45 minutes to an hour in duration, each instructor (leading or helping) will get paid for 2 hours. New instructors with no prior experience teaching will be required to shadow and assist as a helper until the probation period (2 weeks) has ended and they are eligible to teach.

Based on availability, instructors can teach 2-3 classes per day, making $60-100 a day.

Pay: $16.50 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All students and teachers are required to wear masks indoors and outdoors. We are requiring all instructors to be fully vaccinated with weekly PCR tests.
