Our client is well-established, international business located in the Oxford area.
They have a new 6 month contract requirement in their Accounts team for an
AR/Revenue Manager.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, typical responsibilities will be to:
- Manage and develop the Revenue Team in supporting multiple entities
and jurisdictions.
- Review, document, streamline and standardise processes.
- Drive continuous improvements.
- Oversee and monitor the end to end customer journey finance processes
(payments, refunds, credit notes, invoicing).
- Deliver an excellent service experience to customers, both internal and
external, by ensuring all queries are resolved in timely manner.
- Ensure the Group’s policies and standards relating to accounts receivable
and revenue activities are adhered to (revenue recognition, bad debt
provision, accounting for cash, etc.)
- Liaise and assist with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain KPIs to manage and report on the performance of the Revenue
Team.
- Maintain robust controls around the end to end processes managed by
the team.
- Month end process – on time delivery, balance sheet reconciliations (all
balance sheet & P&L accounts relating to customer journey).
- Provide induction and coaching to new team members, and create a
performance culture within the team.
Candidates that apply must have previous AR/Revenue experience to a supervisory
level, ideally within an international business. You should be confident leading a
small team, organised, with good attention to detail, analytically minded and
possess good systems skills, in particular Excel.
On offer is a salary of 40-50k (depending on experience), plus decent benefits as
well as hybrid working and the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
