Parkdale Private School has been providing a caring and positive learning structure for children in the Hampton Roads area since 1957.
We offer daycare, preschool, and before and after school care programs for children ages 6 weeks through twelve years,
We are currently seeking to hire individuals that love to be a positive and caring role model for children.
Our center has recently incorporated Creative Curriculum into our daily learning schedule.

We are actively hiring for Full Time and Part Time positions.

Duties

Implementing of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.

• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to the child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

Lead Teacher Requirements: Documented lead teacher training or certificates.

1 year work experience in a licensed child care center along with 2 professional references is required.

Teacher Assistants: 6 months experience caring for children along with 2 child caring references.
