Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, Park Place Hospitality Group specializes in the development, ownership and day-to-day management of hotel assets. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring that books, records, and reporting of all legal entities are accurate, current, and in compliance.

Position Summary:

Support Finance Department in the timely delivery of accounting tasks, projects, and vendor management. Works as liaison between properties and Corporate Office on accounting related procedures. Provides the President and Vice-President with administrative support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Print, review for accuracy, and post Accounts Payable invoices in M3 Accounting system. End of the Month verify that all monthly invoices have been posted.

• Print daily reports from properties and verify information entered into M3 Accounting daily report is accurate and correct.

• Reconcile monthly bank statements for various bank accounts.

• Review payroll from properties, verify for accuracy, and submit to payroll processor for check processing. (Bi-monthly). Proficiency in ADP is a plus.

• Create and post monthly General Ledger entries.

• Post journal entries & reconcile general ledger accounts to complete the P&L reports.

• Able to generate various reports from M3 Accounting system to include but not limited to Trial Balance, Check Register, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Daily Report.

• Balance Sheet reconciliation.

• Assist with the month-end closing process.

• Monthly Sales & Use as well as local municipality tax submission.

• Filing and maintaining AP files.

Qualifications:

• Experience with M3 accounting software and ADP payroll software REQUIRED.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of Accounting experience specializing in hospitality accounting.

• Strong computer skills including MS Excel/Word.

• CPA certification a plus.

• Ability for limited travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
