Park Place Seniors Living is currently recruiting for Receptionist to work at our Residential and Long Term Care Home located in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cordially receives, assists and directs Residents, tenants, families, visitors, and employees within the Park Place Home, including accompanying visitors to their destination, as required.
• Answers, directs, and responds to phone calls and queries.
• Clerical duties including filing and word processing (e.g. typing minutes), sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Orders office supplies, including for printers, fax machines, photocopier, etc.
• Receives cheques and/or cash payments and provides receipts.
• Develops, updates and maintains all lists (e.g. emergency employee fan-out telephone list, Residents list).
• Books visitor’s suite as applicable, distributes and collects keys and collects, accounts for and deposits funds into bank.
• Restocks Neighborhoods with forms and supplies as required.
• Participates in meetings and takes minutes as requested.
• Maintains close cooperation, communication, and liaison with employees and other professionals involved in the provision of care to Residents and tenants.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of information gained as a result of the employment relationship.
• Other duties as required.
