Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training projects, monitoring the quality and content to ensure consistency in all educational and developmental initiatives.
• Identify learning and performance objectives with desired outcomes for training sessions.
• Prepare and deliver learning solutions that both engage the learners and produce the desired outcomes, applying organizational development and adult learning best practices in curriculum development.
• Coordinate and lead trainers who are subject matter experts, evaluating instructor performance and providing feedback to enhance their effectiveness.
• Regularly conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with internal partners to identify and understand organizational training and developmental opportunities and priorities.
• Collaborate with others to develop and propose innovative learning solutions to address opportunities (to include patient service, work procedures, product use, safety, work skills, etc.) and minimize gaps in performance.
• Assess current user knowledge, skill level, and existing training programs to enhance individual efficiency and training effectiveness.
• Select appropriate and varied instructional and media methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, simulation exercises, role-play, and computer-based training.
• Facilitate learning by creating a positive, learning climate by establishing credibility as an instructor using effective presentation and facilitation skills and adapting style and curriculum to learner needs.
• Organize, develop, and prepare training materials, manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures and technologies.
• Establish, manage, and communicate ongoing training schedules to trainers and trainees.
• Manage and oversee a learning management system for tracking the ongoing development process for individual Doctors & Team Members.
• Develop metrics to assess the efficiency & effectiveness of training and application of learning.
• Gather, interpret, and communicate the return-on-investment associated with training activities.
• Source, manage and evaluate the effectiveness of third-party vendors who can provide effective learning solutions to Park Dental & The Dental Specialists.
• Manage and develop the Learning and Development Coordinator
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent team facilitation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks both efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy in a timely manner.

• Applied knowledge of principles and methods used in curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals or groups, and the measurement of outcomes associated with training.
• Ability to analyze data gathered from diagnostic tools and HR metrics.
• Critical thinking, logic, and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and other learning management systems.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
• Strong instructional design experience.
• Proficient and skilled in Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360, Vyond, and Camtasia applications
• Knowledge in adult learning theory
• Experience in ADDIE model design
• Experience and knowledge of LMS: course uploads, course management, learner interface, administrative interface, and reporting functions
• Current LMS: Absorb
• Knowledge and ability to integrate third-party courseware into current LMS
• Must be able to work independently, highly motivated, and results oriented
• Good judgment, resourceful and creative problem-solving skills
• Communicate and work closely with subject matter experts
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Proficient with technology and MS Office suite
