Research Recruitment Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Recruitment Specialist to join our Brisbane team, would suit a recent graduate looking to work in clinical research.

The role of a Recruitment Specialist includes but is not limited to the following:

• Understanding clinical trial protocols and determining patient eligibility by assessing the inclusion and exclusion criteria of a clinical trial
• Communicating via telephone, email or in person with potential participants to a clinical trial
• Responsible for recruitment activities for all active trials by database search, cold calling, community outreach, and collaborating with GP’s and specialists
• Maintaining a large database
• Establishing rapport with Patients, GP’s, Specialists, Pharmaceutical Sponsors, and all other clients and customers of the organisation

Eligibility Criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in health science or appropriate qualifications in a health related or scientific field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong computer literacy
• Collaborative approach in establishing and maintaining relationships with external customers and clients

Desirable Criteria:

• Clinical research or patient recruiting experience
• Experience working in a clinical and/or research setting;
• Familiar with medical software programs
• Project/study management skills and experience.
• Previous Sales experience
• Training in and understanding of Good Clinical Practice
