Paradise Cabinets in Prince George is looking for additional cabinetmakers/ Assemblers to join our team of exceptional craftspeople. We design, build and install custom kitchens, furniture and architectural millwork.

To work with us your skills/attitude need:

• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be able to read and understand millwork drawings
• Work well with others, sometimes under pressure
• CNC operation and computer skills gets you bonus points (AutoCAD, Sketchup, MS Office)
• Red Seal Bench Joinery or equivalent will give you a leg up!
• You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty when you see an opportunity – when someone asks for a volunteer, you don’t look around the room or at your toes; you are the one!
• You are physically able to lift 50 pounds regularly, without pain or discomfort
• The ability and interest in working outside of your ‘job description’ from time to time

Responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication of cabinets and building components – the final product, and our reputation, is in your hands!
• Ensure that all our clients’ expectations are not only met but exceeded
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and/or Project Coordinator to ensure that project quality and schedule are established and maintained through each project
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, reporting any potential safety issues as they arise
• Occasional installation of millwork
• Operating shop equipment, hand tools etc.
• Regularly lift and move 50lbs plus objects
• CNC operations

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
