Job Description

This is a remote position.

Paradigm is searching for a Software Engineer to support our client, a global leader in the legal industry. This position entails developing applications using React for high-volume, mission critical, middle tier applications.

The role will primarily focus on hands-on coding of the project using the technologies listed below. Proven ability to organize workload and priorities and complete tasks on time & to work effectively in a team environment.

Acts as a resource for other software engineers; and a liaison between department manager and other analysts, as well as the business team.

Type : 6-month contract

Location : Beaverton, OR – Remote (Must be located 50 miles from location)

As a Software Engineer you will :

• Use Agile SDLC methodologies in the full life cycle software development process including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging and testing of system software production applications.
• Participate in technical design and implementation.
• Proactively raises issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product.
• Collaborate with fellow developers in areas of expertise as well as members of business unit.
• Demonstrate self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems.
• Develop, debug and deliver enterprise applications.
• Demonstrate self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems.
• Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes :

• Excellent experience with React JS, Redux / React Redux, Material UI, Redux Hooks and React Hook Forms.
• Experience with REST Services and API integration.
• Should have worked in Agile Scrum teams and is aware of Agile Scrum Delivery principles.
• Should have excellent communication, presentation, and interpretation skills.
• Should be good at analyzing issues / situations and reasoning solution proposals.
• In-depth knowledge in JavaScript including ES6+ and Typescript.
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, or other unit testing framework.
• Knowledge and experience of frontend dev tools such as Babel, Webpack & NPM.
• Knowledge of OData / SQL Server are an advantage.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
