Sounds good so, what’s the role?

Perfect for someone starting their technology journey, you will be joining a team of experienced developers ready to mentor and guide you within your role. You will be using your skills and drive in a fast-paced environment to deliver solutions for our core internal collections software. A system used by more than 300 staff daily to interact with millions of Australian customers. You will be providing the first level of technical support to business stakeholders and the development team through a managed support system.

Great, what will I be doing?

• Managing the dedicated support channel for investigation, triage and resolution of support requests as they are raised
• Actioning bug fixes with the support of the development team
• Assisting the Data and Insights team with bulk data uploads to SQL database
• Solving ad-hoc data queries from business stakeholders
• Working with Product Manager in maintaining development priorities
• Working with business analysts on requirements gathering and analysis
• Working with testing team to ensure acceptance criteria are met
• Working in an agile methodology with daily stand ups and other agile ceremonies
• Contributing to forming effective business solutions through brain storming sessions
• Assisting development team in maintenance of technical documentation

Ok, what do I need to succeed in this role?

You will definitely need to have:

• A degree in Software Development/Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic coding languages such as C#, HTML5 and JavaScript
• An understanding of SQL Databases
• Problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both within a team and independently
