Panoramix Limited Hiring for PQ/NQ patent attorney – software/engineering Job at Lincoln, England Full Time

Panoramix is fast growing IP legal services provider headquartered in Lincoln, UK but also with a presence in London and Los Angeles. We provide fairly priced IP and commercial legal services to start ups and aim to become the IP legal service provider of choice to start ups and SMEs in the UK and internationally within the next 5 years. To support these lofty ambitions we have a need to recruit a PQ/NQ patent attorney with software and engineering expertise. The successful candidate will need at least 3 years’ experience in private practice or industry and will be eligible to have taken/already taken some/all of the UK advanced patent exams and/or EQE.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work exclusively with direct clients across multiple industry sectors. Our clients are mostly highly innovative SMEs who require an in house counsel experience. It is therefore important that the successful candidate is personable, confident, and willing to really get to know our clients.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will grow with us and take on management responsibility in due course. We look after our own and do not recruit more experienced hires that would block promotion prospects for existing employees. This is a key hire for us and will afford the opportunity for the successful candidate to take over responsibility for the patents side of our business and grow their own team.

The role will initially be home based but there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will attend our (soon to be acquired) office in Lincoln on occasion. Business development will be an important part of the role and the successful candidate will be required to travel within the UK and internationally to suit the needs of the business.

Salary: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
