Life as a Finance Officer

Our Finance department provides a centrally located finance function to the whole company overseeing all services across Europe and US, addressing all issues and processing payments to meet the demands of staff, customers and suppliers. Our finance team is key to driving the company to future success, always guaranteeing sustainable profitable growth.

Every day at Medik8 as a Finance Officer you will manage the financial transactions within the business, delivering on strategic business objectives and providing information in a timely manner to key business stakeholders.

In this role you’ll join a bunch of like-minded people who are passionate about what they do; you will play a key role in supporting them with accounts payable and receivable, banking and credit control tasks.

In more detail your role will include:

• Makes sure that all accounts reflect the most accurate information at all times, being fully reconciled.
• Guarantees constant information flow so all external partners operate in the smoothest way.
• Works closely with all our teams to guarantee maximum profitability.
• Monitors and reports variances, risks and opportunities in all transactions.
• Guarantees no account is out of budget or formal approval.

We would love to hear from you if you have…

• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
• AAT/ACCA qualification or Accounting degree
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and procedures
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong communication skills both spoken and written
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• An ability to follow a structured process to ensure compliance but able to work on own initiative to resolve queries promptly and accurately, adding value to existing processes as appropriate
