The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, Victoria, the Hotel Accountant will be responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger and end of month process. They will support the efficient operation of the Finance Department.
The successful Hotel Accountant will:

• Develop and maintain effective relationships within the Finance team and wider hotel team.
• Maintenance of all ledgers, journals and other accounting records of the company
• Assist with End of Month processes
• Assist with the preparation, accuracy and timely submission of all financial and other management reports of the company
• Assist with External and Internal Audit preparation
• Monitoring of adherence to various internal controls and policy & procedures

Talent Profile
Ideally you will have:

• A degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA Qualification, or commencement of the CPA Program will be highly regarded.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Hospitality Industry Experience is preferred
• SAP & Opera experience preferred
• Proven leadership skills and a high sense of integrity.
