PALS Home Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Recruiter to join our healthcare organization as Director of Recruiting. The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring talented nurses to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that we have the right talent in place to deliver exceptional patient care and meet the needs of our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified nurse candidates
• Source and screen potential candidates through job postings, job fairs, college recruitment events, and other sources
• Conduct in-person and telephonic interviews with candidates
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure that the recruitment process aligns with department goals and objectives
• Coordinate with branch managers and schedulers to assess staffing needs.
• Facilitate end to end selection process including resume reviews, phone screens, and skill assessments
• Meet individual recruiting goals as set by executive team
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide regular updates on their status
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new hires
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment and hiring activities
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
• Plan and coordinate recruiting staff contests in alignment with current staffing needs
• Participate in the development and implementation of recruitment policies and procedures
• Travels to sites to provide on-site recruiting as needed
• Maintains high-level of confidentiality with client and staff protected/personal information
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Nursing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, healthcare recruiting preferred
• Health Care with Home Health and/or Pediatric Home Health experience preferred
• Strong understanding of nursing licensure and certification requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
• Quantifiable experience sourcing, recruiting, and staffing Nurses

Other Requirements:

• Self-starter with initiative, strong organizational skills, project management skills, decision making and leaderships skills.
• Team player with the ability to facilitate team building, develop effective partnerships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
• Travel to branch offices with overnight stays will be required
• Bilingual in Spanish language preferred

This is a Hybrid remote position. Travel to our corporate headquarters will be required on a regular basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year
