Our client, a successful mid-sized manufacturing company in Brockville has immediate job openings for Manufacturing Packaging/Production Operators. A global company that provides a complete range of solutions for the conversion of oil and biomass to cleaner fuel. Roles to a Shift Supervisor.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform packaging functions such as filling, marking, labelling, banding packing containers.
• Raw material unloading and preparation.
• Monitor and control equipment using PLC panels.
• Clean and adjust equipment.
• Maintain product feed to conveyors and screens.
• Operate and adjust equipment to maintain quality and uniform flow of materials.
• Inspect sample product and containers at each step of packaging process.
• Weigh filled containers, label, scan and sort inventory.
• Prepare final product packaging for shipment.
• Keep accurate records of materials processed.
• Replenish and stage packaging supplies.
• Safely operate lift trucks and hand trucks to move finished product.
• Support collaborative, highly functioning expanding team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations
• Valid driver’s licence and forklift training
