Page Personnel UK Hiring for Senior HR Advisor – 12 month FTC – Watford with hybrid working at Watford Full Time

The client are a market leading firm within the Retail industry with hundreds of stores based nationally. Their HR Shared Service team operates out of Watford and they are currently looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their them on an initial 12 month FTC (with potential for longer term opportunities). They will specialise in Employee Relations and support line managers through end to end cases.

Job Description

As a Senior HR Advisor your key responsibilities will be:
Provide Employee Relations support and guidance to internal stakeholders in the business

Coach and train managers on employee relations best practice

Employee relations case management of complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, gross misconduct, long term absence etc.

Act as point of escalation for Junior HR staff within the team

Lead and minute take in meetings (occasionally on site in person – some travel required nationally)

Policy implementation and review

The Successful Applicant

Comprehensive background within employee relations management and comfortable managing complex cases independently

Excellent business partnering capability

Able to communicate effectively at all levels

Live locally to Watford and able to attend the office 3 times a week

Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards (not essential)

Able to confidently talk through previous case management experience
