This is an exciting HR opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business as a Standalone HR Manager based in Bedford. The successful candidate will have the ability to formalise HR policies and processes to make a crucial impact on the onboarding process and ongoing engagement of the Company’s team. This is a development role for the Human resources and personnel function and offers the opportunity to grow with the company

Job Description

HR Manager duties and responsibilities;

Advertising roles for department managers and performing initial sift and interviews

Inductions & Onboarding

Signing off weekly and monthly payroll

Arranging and attending performance reviews with department heads

Handling staff disciplinary issues

Issuing contracts of employment and offer letters

Liaising with department managers to utilise existing staff to best capacity, and reassigning job roles as necessary analyse staff private vehicle usage, and deductions from wages, in accordance with tax compliance

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Manager will be required to have Strong HR knowledge and experience, ideally within a smaller organisation or company where the HR function has been transitioned in house.

The role will also assist in ensuring accuracy of Human resources and personnel data.
