Our client is a large manufacturing organisation located in Seaham. You’ll be joining the HR Team for a maternity cover contract, working alongside the HR Manager, Regional Head of HR, as well as the HR and Payroll Coordinator.
Job Description
Duties of the HR Coordinator will include:
Acting as the primary contact for queries coming through ranging from payroll, to ER issues.
Act as system administrator for Success Factors and Kronos systems. Controlling all users access, managing data and ensuring accuracy and data protection compliance, and liaising with the system contacts to troubleshoot queries as requested.
Carrying out all the administrative processes in the recruitment process such as, preparing recruitment documents, draft and placing adverts, logging application forms, sit on interview panels and administering tests.
Administer the process for new employees, for example; prepare contracts, offer letters, prepare new starter packs and more
Carrying out general administration tasks for the HR department, for example; sorting post, telephone answering, drafting standard HR documents and letter and manager the HR inbox.
Ensuring employee files are maintained and archived in a timely manner and compliant with GDPR.
Ensure all payroll activities are completed in a timely manner with accurate checks of the Kronos system carried out on a daily basis.
The Successful Applicant
The requirements of this post include:
Experience as a HR Coordinator or previous administration experience within a busy environment (Desirable in Manufacturing)
Previous exposure to a HR environment or HR related qualification
A desire to work in a fast-paced HR Department
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and email.
Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and ‘can do’ attitude.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
