Job Description

The key responsibilities of the HR Advisor:
Responsible for recruitment alongside advertisements and advising line managers.

Advise and deal with all employee relation matters.

Support and advise on absence management

Attend meetings as required with line managers, support through grievance hearings, disciplinary hearings.

Identify and hi light any HR process issues.

Provide managers with support on employee concerns.

Report back to management on HR performance

Ensure HR policies are kept up to date and in line with legislation.

Coach managers through grievances and any other issues.

The Successful Applicant

CIPD level 5 (or working towards)

Previous experience of dealing with complex ER issues.

Union experience is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience of working on own caseload.

Ability to communicate professionally and confidently.

Good understanding of people management.
