About Our Client

The client are a well established business in the care home space that are seeking a Finance Controller to join them for this 12 month maternity cover contract. You will lead the finance function for the business and oversee 4 transactional reports and be a great leader.

Job Description

  • Oversee x4 transactional staff ensuring their processing is accurate

  • Lead the monthly production of management accounts, including budgeting, forecasts, accruals and prepayments

  • Lead the annual audit

  • Business partner with internal units to increase business efficiencies

  • Produce financial accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and financial accounting

  • Support the Payroll Manager and other management as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional who has experience working in a similar position and able to hit the ground running. You will have an effective home working set up, experience of the not-for-profit/health-care space would be advantageous but not essential.
