Full training is provided but previous HR knowledge/exposure is essential and there is fantastic career progression on offer. Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Employee Relations Assistant in Manchester are:
informing on policies and procedures
managing and organising meetings for the team and distributing agendas
taking minutes in meetings
preparing documents and presentation materials
data collation and analysis, production of management information
supporting the delivery of ER and training to stakeholders
supporting with people improvement, business initiatives and project work
updating and maintaining the ER case management system
managing low risk casework
processing new starters and leavers and completing job change requests
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have/be:
previous experience in an HR capacity
knowledge of HR functions and practices
excellent communication skills both written and verbal
meticulous attention to detail
computer literate with MS Office and in-house systems
excellent planning and organisational skills
willingness to learn and develop
ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
