PageGroup are recruiting on behalf of a non-profit organisation in Wakefield. This position requires an experienced Management Accountant who can produce full management accounts for the organisation.

Description

• Contribute to the creation of monthly management accounts and financial statements, including accruals, prepayments, journals and reconciliations
• Engage in continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organisation financial documents
• Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies
• Examine all financial s and data closely to check for discrepancies

The role will develop into a business partnering role in the future, so we are looking for candidates who are keen to develop their skill set further alongside qualifying in a professional accountancy qualification.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role in the Accounting & Finance sector
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
