Packager, Pickle Line Full Time

Responsibilities
– Review the Daily Production Schedule and work orders at the start of shift to ensure that all packaging materials are available.
– Review production schedule to ensure that all work orders are available at the exit end work station.
– Review all work orders to ensure all packaging instructions and special instructions are being followed.
– Visually inspect the strip during the first 100 feet, the middle 100 feet and the last 100 feet for any defects and record on Exit Operator’s report.
– Notify the Line Operator and Foreman when defects are encountered. Record all defects on Exit Operator’s Report.
– Stay up to date on all 24/7 training modules
– Analyze every job and reduce the hazards as much as possible before starting
Education and Certificates
– High School education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
– Effective time management skills, able to work as a member of a team.
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Drive, determination and ability to work both independently with little direction and as part of a team.
The base pay for this position is $23.18/hour with a target variable pay of 4%
