Pack-Smart Inc. Hiring for Senior Field Service Engineer at Concord, ON Full Time

Role

You are an energetic, skilled, team-oriented individual who will join our Production Engineering team to commission a new generation of high speed, automated manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for the commissioning of automated machinery while maintaining a high level of technical ability and driving towards quality and schedule.

Responsibilities:

· Manage new equipment installation, start up and hand over on-site.

· Collaborate with project stakeholders (Customers, Contractors, Engineers, and Management) on an ongoing basis on design reviews, modifications or changes that would impact the overall equipment build and functionality

· Generate functional test procedures, checklists, issues logs, and specifications.

· Perform inspections and functional tests.

· Perform system deficiency, root cause issues/deficiencies and participate in resolution analyses.

· Identify potential risks during commissioning, and consequently develop solutions.

· Train customer on equipment operation, machine setups and maintenance.

· Prepare and deliver commissioning reports and documentation.

· Apply company commissioning process guidelines as well as industry standards to ensure quality project delivery.

Requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree in engineering/science with 5 years of commissioning & qualification experience of automated machinery or equivalent an asset.

· A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred

· Experience in a manufacturing environment required

· Read & interpret engineering drawings and design documents required.

· Excellent technical and communication skills in English.

· A self-motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities.

· Ability to travel.
