ing to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Talent Acquisition Specialist , is responsible for the full-cycle recruiting of nursing / clinical and non-clinical positions throughout the Hospital.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Target (source), pre-screen, interview and refer the best candidates to the hiring manager
• Collaborate with hiring manager and human resources staff to ensure smooth onboarding process
• Collaborate with CHRO to develop best practice strategies to attract and retain staff
• Develop a steady stream of viable passive and active candidates through networking, various internet searches and cold calling
• Convey the Pacific Hospital of the Valley Mission, Vision and Culture to candidates
• Educate candidates on the personal and professional benefits of working for Pacifica Hospital of the Valley
• Track and manage candidate communication and interview process using our applicant tracking system (Position Manager)

The successful candidate will possess the following education and skills :

• High School graduate or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years recruiting experience, with previous experience sourcing clinical / nursing positions
• Knowledge of current healthcare recruiting trends and best practices
• Working knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting processes, including, sourcing, qualifying, networking, closing and relationship management
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to work independently
