Pacific Vision Eyecare is looking for a friendly, energetic ‘people person’ to join our busy, fun, team-oriented practice. Qualified applicants should have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent customer service abilities. MUST have a professional appearance.

Clinic Staff members are essential to the success of an Optometry Office. They are the first point of contact a Patient has with our Practice, and the last person a Patient speaks with as they leave our office. As such, Clinical assistants are extraordinarily helpful not only to our Doctors but also for Patients who are sometimes unfamiliar with the Optometric healthcare setting.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Looking for Full-Time help at our Clinic.
• Independent Optometry Clinic located within the Burlington Costco.
• Not affiliated with Costco Corporation.
• Immediate opening available for qualified individual.

EXPERIENCE

• No experience necessary, on-the-job training provided.
• Background in customer service preferred.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office programs.

SKILLS

• Friendly, patient and caring with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• Must have the behavioral sensitivity, maturity, diplomacy and tact in addressing complex situations and when speaking with emotional Patients.
• High level of personal and professional moral integrity is essential.

JOB DETAILS

• Provide friendly, helpful service by greeting Patients as they enter the clinic, answer Patient questions and address their concerns.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments, as well as make phone calls to Patients on behalf of the office.
• Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information.
• Maintain a smooth, steady flow of Patients to minimize wait times and ensure Patients are seen in the proper order.
• Conduct ‘Pre-Test’ procedures: These are simple tests that make eye appointments more efficient and productive by gathering necessary data before exams begin.
• After completion of the exam, receive accurate payment; make change; as well as process checks, credit, and debit charges.
