Pacific Seafood Hiring for SAP Functional Lead – Supply Chain Analyst Full Time

As the SAP Functional Lead – Supply Chain Analyst, you will manage the design and implementation of Pacific Seafood’s new SAP system as it relates to the company’s supply chain process. You will be supported by multiple Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) as this transformational role will oversee many processes that are brand new to Pacific Seafood. The SAP Functional Lead – Supply Chain Analyst has a large role that focuses on providing strong, hands-on experience in the configuration and design of Procurement to Pay, MRO, Production/Process Orders and Inventory Management processes in SAP HANA. As a member of the ERP Support Team, you will analyze business procedures and work closely with the other ERP Subject Matter Experts to develop, document and deliver end-to-end SAP process and systems solutions which enable Pacific Seafood’s strategy.
The role will be responsible for building and maintaining a deep understanding of business and system requirements, defining the overall processes and technical solutions for the order to cash discipline and developing ing and/or documentation to sustain process changes. The individual must be able to effectively partner with all levels of the organization, provide thought leadership, lead and influence others, drive results, ensure systems and process integration, and provide functional expertise and guidance to deliver sustainable solutions.

• Training & Preparations
• Pre-workshop Preparation Sessions, SAP Bootcamp Training, and Functional Training

• Business Process Design (BPD) and Business Process Flows (BPF)

• Daily Scrum and Weekly Team Leader meetings; Additional Team, Project and Lead meetings as needed

• Create and deliver demonstrations to Project Leadership, SME’s, future Power Users and operators at locations and will help lead the change effort through consistent and clear communication.

• System Build
• Collaborate with the Consulting team and Project leadership to track the configuration supporting the system design.

• Knowledge Transfer
• Learn specific SAP configuration areas, steps, and settings to influence the system behavior to match the business requirements.

• Testing
• Conduct Unit and Integration Testing; Responsible for developing and tracking scenarios which represent real world, “day in the life” activities for operators in their functional areas.

• User Training
• Create training materials for users using project defined documentation templates and the SAP Enable Now tools; Provide training to the Power Users and other critical users at the individual sites to ensure the site is prepared for go live and cutover activities.

• Implementation – Rollout and Production support – The Project Lead will be designated as a Superuser to provide operational support, continual training & education and testing, and lead change management efforts.

• Identify and mitigate risk/issues throughout project life cycle; provide concise communication of risks to project teams and business leadership
• Develop and manage to project plans to ensure a smooth start up
• Identify success metrics required for project sign-off and validate readiness for go-live
• Forms communication EDI customer facing
• Structure hierarchy for sales and customer
• Establish pricing structure and pricing flexibility (What order types, what pricing on each order type, future state)
• Support ing needs related to SAP-based requirements and Customer Supply Chain policy related compliance inquiries
• Enable the delivery of tactical execution and support for business disruptions through solutioning, standardization and process/system enhancements
• Master Data creation: Sales Organization Hierarchy, Customer Master Records, Customer Hierarchy, Custom Attribution

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible supply chain management / demand planning experience.
• Proven experience overcoming the challenges of a manufacturing, food production, and/or distribution environment.
• Prior experience managing multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating creative problem resolution skills.
• Analytical skills showing adeptness at MS Suite including Project, Excel and PowerPoint (Visio a plus).

Preferred

• SAP (or other ERP) implementation experience
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification with continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with value stream mapping and lean manufacturing/food production.
• Experience leveraging industrial internet of (IIOT) for data analysis and key operational metrics.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA and safety regulations.

Total Compensation
At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package. When you add in the additional benefits below to our competitive base wage you can increase your total compensation up to 25%.
