The Role

Due to consistent growth, we are looking to employ a number of Sheet Metal Fabricators into our workshop based close to Perth Airport. Whilst your role may vary, you are typically tasked with the execution of fabrication works, safety measures, risk management and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• General Fabrication works, assembly works
• Working from mechanical drawings
• Ensuring you have the correct resources to perform your tasks
• Design reviews and drawing mark-ups
• Supervising junior staff members and apprentices
• Responsible for compliance with OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and ing hazards and near misses
• Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork

About You

• Certificate III in Fabrication or Fabrication experience.
• Prior sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing experience
• Extensive welding experience with TIG, MIG, Stick, and Oxy
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to appropriately delegate and prioritise tasks
• Excellent team working skills
