The Talent Acquisition Manager along with the Sr. Director, Talent Strategy serves as a strategic partner to the University’s hiring managers and manages the full talent acquisition cycle for staff positions including working with managers to develop recruitment plans, guiding through the posting process, evaluating and interviewing candidates, conducting pre-employment screening, extending salary offers and ensuring a positive on-boarding experience for all new hires. The Talent Acquisition Manager demonstrates a superior service ethic in responding to and directing a wide variety of inquiries for all HR functions.

The Talent Acquisition Manager supports recruitment activities for all campuses by assisting with the posting process in the PeopleAdmin applicant tracking system (ATS), guiding managers on hiring policies and procedures, responding to applicant inquiries, and coordinating all administrative aspects of the hiring process from pre-employment through on-boarding.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline and a minimum of two years of recruitment and/or on-boarding experience are required. First-hand experience in process-driven environments is strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal and platform skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines are a must.
• The ability to exercise discretion and to maintain the highest level of confidentiality is also required.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing a genuine service ethic is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or On-boarding systems is required.
• Must be able to work a mix of remote, Valhalla office and/or NYC office.

Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. Weekend or evening may be required on occasion for special events. Will require flexibility in traveling to NYC office when needed. Remote working flexibility available.
