PACE Organization of Rhode Island, a not-for profit, all-inclusive health plan for eligible older adults with complex health needs who wish to remain living in their home and community, is currently recruiting for a full-time Education & Research Associate. As the insurer, provider, and coordinator of health care and wellness, PACE-RI tailors care plans to meet each participant’s individual needs through a range of service offerings. The Education & Research Associate at PACE-RI under the supervision of the Senior Director of HR manages and tracks staff education and development programs; grows and maintains our student placement/internship program; and serves as the primary liaison for various research projects with the academic community. The Education & Research Associate functions as an educator, facilitator, coordinator, and collaborator with both internal staff and external stakeholders and is responsible for forging relationships with training programs, schools, and universities. The primary purpose of the work of the Education & Research Associate is to create systems that add to the quality of care delivered to PACE-RI participants.
The Education & Research Associate must be able to manage competing priorities and have strong administrative and technical support skills to remain organized and on top of day-to-day activities while maintaining focused on strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, Required
1-3 years of staff education experience, Preferred
1-3 years of administrative support or program coordination experience, Preferred
Strong MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) & Scheduling Skills, Required

PACE-RI offers a full benefit package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 403b with match, Life Insurance, AD&D Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Account options, 11 Paid Holidays. Staff start with 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus all benefit eligible staff receive their birthday off. Weekly PTO scale adjusts at the end of years 3, 6, & 9 year with max accrual of 6 weeks for non-management staff.
