• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial functions, such as: treasury (banking and cash), A/P and A/R, fixed assets and capital expenditures, expenses, inventory, intercompany transactions, consolidations, and budgeting. Maintain accounting ledgers on a GAAP-compliant basis.
• Oversee a system of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls and safeguards including, but not limited to, areas of purchase orders (accurate/timely processing), accounts payable (invoice matching), petty cash, capital expenditures and fixed assets, inventory management, core employee expense reports, and cash controls.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting (i.e., income statement and balance sheet) and management reporting (i.e., departmental/regional budget-to-actuals) which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position.
• Prepare budgets/re-forecasts, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
• Provide year-end tax-basis financial reporting deliverables to tax representatives and/or external tax preparer for income tax compliance reporting. Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
• Establishes and maintains relations with banks and other financial institutions.
• Work in partnership with senior management, operations, legal, and others to provide transaction support and related accounting activities. Arranges for audits of company’s accounts and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.
• Works with Global Risk Manager and advises local management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities. Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs.
• Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, Master’s degree is preferred; CPA is preferred
• Industry experience should include industrial manufacturing – plastics, injection molding, or metal. International experience is highly preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP and the ability to interpret GAAP and related regulations. Provide necessary training and guidance on compliance procedures
• Experience designing/building/delivering actionable reporting as well as GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Skilled in analyzing complex financial matters and simplify & communicate them down into concise recommendations
