The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, proactive and outcome focused HR generalist to join the Human Resources Team here at PACCAR Australia. This new role will see the successful candidate supporting the Operations Team between the hours of 2:30pm – 10:30pm for a fixed term of 12 months.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the key responsibilities will include:

• Providing support & advice on common HR matters, including guidance and coaching for employees and managers on performance management, policy interpretation, wellness, and employee engagement
• Support for key recruitment drives
• Delivery and implementation of upcoming HR projects
• Ensuring all corporate guidelines & compliance are adhered to
• Supporting the Operations team to deliver on key business objectives

What we like about you:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
• Experience in manufacturing and/or blue collar industry
• Strong computer literacy and advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office
• Previous experience in an HR related role
