The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Financial Accountant who enjoys financial reports and is highly detail oriented, enjoys problem solving and has strong attention to detail to join the Finance team here at KDM. Being the only dealership in the network that is owned by PACCAR, we encourage you to grow your career with us.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Completion of daily and month end closing and reporting tasks
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist Bank and account reconciliations
• Preparation of audit files & dealing with auditors & audit queries and Sarbanes Oxley testing
• Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to
• Ad hoc projects and process improvement

What we like about you

• You will have an Australian recognised degree in accounting
• Have or is working towards a CA/CPA qualification
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant with knowledge of Australian Accounting
• Excellent internal finance controls
• Excellent computer skills with accounting software and advanced excel are essential.
• Plus a high level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical skills, are preferred to be successful in his role.
