P Partners Hiring for FP&A and Reporting Director (remote) Job at Remote Full Time

New position at a fast-growing agricultural investment manager and farming company that has delivered double-digit returns to its investors since inception and is positioned to scale by 2-3x by 2024.

The Position

At a high-growth company, roles will evolve, initially the key responsibilities of this role will be:

FP&A/Reporting (~60% of the time)

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and her team to develop recurring and ad-hoc farm-level financial analyses
• Prepare more sophisticated financial analyses such as aggregate data, cash flow forecasting, and farm comparisons
• Develop long-term forecasting
• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams as needed to support them with farm-level forecasting and budgeting
• Partner with all teams to manage the quarterly reporting process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to investors
• Work with others in the team on the annual budgeting process (e.g. develop tools and processes to make the process as simple as possible for a growing portfolio of assets)
• Collaborate with others in the team to develop processes to ensure consistent and recurring financial analyses
• Prepare the management company reporting/forecasting
• Collaborate with others in the team to develop reporting and financial analyses within the ERP system

Investor administration (~20% of the time)

• Ensure that contributions, distributions, waterfalls, tax withholdings, investor standing data, etc. are accurately reflected in Juniper Square at all times
• Collaborate with others in the team to ensure new deals are properly documented and reconciled in the investor portal and enhance the overall investor experience (e.g. reporting and functionality)
• Manage the distribution process by working with the Asset Managers and Treasury team to ensure that semi-annual distributions are calculated, approved, and paid accurately and timely

General finance and administration (~20% of the time)

• Support other functions and teams as needed on general finance and administration items (e.g. R&D tax credits, equipment pooling)
