We seek a Mechanical Applications Engineer with experience and knowledge in mechanical simulations and modeling using ANSYS software tools. In This Position…

As part of the Ozen team, you will be at the leading edge of technological innovation, providing pre-sales technical support to grow our clients’ impact using your advanced engineering knowledge.

What You’ll Do…

• Provide hands-on support through expert simulation consulting services, leading customer meetings, in-depth ANSYS demonstrations, and software evaluations.
• Interact with customers and prospects to understand their business and technical needs and analyze how to address requirements using Ansys solutions.
• Design and deliver introductory or customized training at all experience levels to assist customers with integrating ANSYS software into the product design process.
• Lead mentoring services and weekly follow-up sessions on various topics, including designing workflows and approaching simulation to equip clients with leveraging ANSYS to meet engineering goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team in executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity life cycle.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ANSYS tools and platforms, responding to client inquiries quickly and accurately.
• Work independently within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and scalable solutions to our customer base.
• Write and create blogs/videos/papers on simulation applications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanical Engineering degree or similar discipline with emphasis on finite element solutions
• 5+ years of experience with ANSYS mechanical software or other FEA software
• Demonstrated proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to learn new engineering skills / concepts / software quickly and independently.
• Experience with other Ansys tools (LS-Dyna) is beneficial.
• Highly organized, self-driven with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Have a passion for engineering and physics-based simulation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in developing these skills through hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of failures and develop process improvements through root cause analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes and develop process improvements through analysis of results.

• While this role is remote, preference will be given to candidates in the Pacific (PT) or Mountain (MT) time zones.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
