Oxit Hiring for Bookkeeper Job at Charlotte, NC Full Time

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper for our growing company. Bookkeepers are responsible for managing the bookkeeping and general office administrative duties. Primary responsibilities include accounts payable, bank deposits, reconciliations, and other finance-related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send invoices, credit memos in multiple formats
• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile monthly bank accounts
• Reconciliation of monthly credit cards
• Making journal entries for receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Filing source documents for all journal entries recorded.
• Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
• Preparing trial balances.
• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Preparing cash flow statements.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of selected accounting procedures
• Create and maintain paper and electronic filing system for contracts, invoices, and expenses
• Performing other duties as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online.
• Proficient in GSuite.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures
• Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
• Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy
• Ability to interpret data and make cost effective decisions
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressures
