HR Business Partner

We are looking for experienced HR Business Partners to lead on Operational HR for key departments and HR project work required to achieve our goals.
There are opportunities for flexible working.
HOURS: 18-37 hours per week
SALARY: £38,000 per annum, pro rata if applicable
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOLIDAYS: 28 days per annum, pro rata if applicable
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Head of HR
PROBATIONARY PERIOD*: * 6 months
PENSION: Auto enrolment scheme in place
BASE: Osney Mead, Oxford, with some home working

ABOUT THE TEAM*
Oxfordshire Mind has been rapidly growing over the last five years and doubled in size since April 2020. We currently have 250 staff and continue to grow.
During this time of change we have worked with consultants and interims to deliver the HR function and various projects including implementing HRMIS, reviewing contract and right to work compliance and improving DBS and GDPR processes.
We recently secured approval for our permanent HR structure, and we are now looking expand the team with high calibre HR professionals to join us on a permanent basis.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The HR Business Partners will provide autonomous HR generalist support to specific departments in the organisation, ensuring that Line Managers are coached and supported throughout the employee lifecycle to get the most from their teams and operate in a way that promotes the culture, mission and values.
Within the HR function the Business Partners play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment legislation and continuously improving the HR policies and processes.

Essential*
1. Level 7 CIPD qualification and/or equivalent broad experience in a senior HR generalist role. Strong knowledge across all the core HR deliverables – resourcing, retention, development & training, talent management, organisation design, employee engagement.
2. Good understanding of employment law and its practical application in a business context alongside demonstrable experience of supporting and advising managers with employee relations matters.
3. Ability to quickly build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
4. Strong HR Information Systems and data management skills.
5. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
6. Committed to continuous professional development and learning.
Desirable
7. Knowledge and sensitivity to the needs of people living with mental and emotional health problems (or the willingness to learn).
8. Experience of working with improving processes, systems and procedures.
9. Strong skills in coaching and developing others, with a particular focus on developing the capability of managers.
10. Strong commercial acumen and ability to partner with Managers to meet strategic and operational needs through HR support.
11. Adept at creative issue resolution and facilitation of solutions.
