Oxford Tax Recruiting Hiring for Tax Manager (Family Office) Job at Greenwood Village, CO Full Time

We are working with a family office in the DTC area to assist in their search for a Tax Manager. Our client has about 25 total employees including a Senior Tax Accountant and this Tax Manager. In addition to tax planning and some compliance work, you’ll be involved in a variety of accounting and finance projects that are both challenging and interesting. Our client offers a hybrid work situation and flexibility.

The family office includes entities such as Oil & Gas partnerships, private equity partnerships, an operating non-profit and a large number of other entities. There is a small aspect of international tax work, as well. Your work will include preparing about 15 individual and 200 entity returns, including partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, Trust and Non-profit.

Preferred qualifications for the Tax Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related field – advanced degree a plus
• Active CPA License (preferred)
• Recent experience preparing a variety of returns including 1040,1065,1120, 1120-S
• 5+ years public accounting or family office tax experience
• Experienced understanding of tax return mechanics
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills, both written and verbally
• Polished and personable demeanor

Out of state candidates will be considered if they are willing to relocate to the Denver metro area within 2 months of accepting a position., but no relocation assistance is being provided.

Qualified candidates will have a title such as Tax Consultant, Tax Accountant, Tax Senior, Tax Associate, Senior Tax Associate, Advisor, Tax Manager, Family Office Advisor, Tax Specialist, Tax Planner, Senior Tax Advisor, etc..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
