Oxford Consulting Services Hiring for Special Education Paraprofessional at Remote Full Time

Current Opportunity: Oxford Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Special Education Paraprofessional for a fully remote assignment. Virtual services will be delivered via a Zoom based virtual classroom. This is an up to 25 hour per week position with a highly competitive hourly rate.

What it Looks Like:

· Instructional Support

o Work 1:1 with student as determined by SAI teacher and as required by student IEP

o Topics/Activities to be determined by SAI teacher

o May provide push in support as directed by SpED Administrator/SAI teacher

· Participation in Curriculum

o Run daily reports for students in Approaching Alarm/Alarm

o Contact families who are in Alarm for Contacts – log contact

o Contact families who are in Alarm for Attendance – remind CT how to log

o Follow up with families for STs who have missed 3 SAI LiveLessons in a row

· Participation in Supplemental Programs

o Run weekly reports for student participation/progress in iReady or other SISP

o Contact families of Adapted/Alt Ed families who aren’t participating in required 3x weekly iReady

o Review iReady progress for students who have failed a topic

o Arrange reteaching session for failed topic(s)

· Progress Monitoring

o Administer formative assessments to students to gauge progress on IEP goals

o Report progress and data to SAI teacher

o Support students in completing Benchmark assessments 3x per year

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent AND

o Two Years of college (48 credit hours) OR AA degree or higher

o Previous Paraprofessional experience required

· Undergo Live Scan/DOJ Fingerprint Scanning with Oxford Consulting

· Experience in virtual setting (preferred)
