Overhead Door Corporation Hiring for Oracle Manufacturing Engineer at Mount Hope, OH Full Time

This is a Manufacturing Engineering position that will be part of the Oracle implementation team at the Mt. Hope, OH manufacturing facility. The individual that fills this position must be comfortable working within a high-performance team while at the same time having the skills to work independently while managing individual projects inside the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production standards based on Methods Time Measurements, MOST, and/or Time Study.
• Travel to company facilities, vendors, seminars and expositions as necessary.
• Operate a personal computer to compile incentive standards, record storage and project evaluation.
• Self-motivator with ability to handle multiple projects and activities at the same time.
• Maintain and manage test cases for the transformation from one ERP system to another.
• Manage the migration of static parts and information from the old to the new system. Much of this is comprised of creating and managing complex Excel sheets filled with information.

Skills/Experience Requirements

• Good organizational skills including project management.
• Basic understanding of the manufacturing process to include BOM’s, labor, and overhead.
• Knowledge of the ways various systems interact and how changes in operations, the environment and other conditions will affect outcome.
• A hands-on result-oriented individual that has an attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MS Business suite especially Excel, Word, and Visio. An emphasis on Microsoft Excel.

Education Requirements
BSME, BSIE, or related engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
