We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our growing team.

Our ideal Sales Assistant has a demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals, strong communication skills, organizational skills, follow through, and initiative. They will be relied upon to build and grow productive relationships internally, externally, and cross functionally to achieve goals in the most efficient manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working with the Senior Account Manager, assisting to drive total business for each program, maintaining sales & margin targets to ensuring design & development of product lines through on-time delivery.

• Day to day ownership of and managing support for retailer accounts.

• Working with retail partners to receive order commits on time.

• Following up with customer service teams when needed

• Coordinating sample requests and sample send outs (including tagging, assortment files, etc.) 

• Build strong relationships, rapport, and credibility with counterparts. 

• Prepares meeting materials (sales analyses, merchandising layouts, and other support tools as needed) for presentation to assist Sr Acct Mgr. during milestone appointments.

• Work cross functionally with in house teams to ensure assortments align with sales history, market trends, and margin goals. Pre-emptively identifies potential production issues or delivery delays, troubleshoot, and communicate with cross functional partners as necessary.

• Assist in developing market analysis via research online and in store to understand competition and identify potential areas of opportunity and/or new business.

he ideal applicants must possess:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 3+ years of related experience required (account management, sales experience in wholesale manufacturing a plus)

• Candidate MUST be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Blue Cherry experience is a plus!

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Candidate must work well under pressure and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.

• Ability to set goals and develop realistic work plans and schedules to achieve.

• Need to be a self-starter; proactive and able to work well independently.

• Ability to work productively in a team environment.
