We operate a hybrid work model, 3 days in the office, and Monday and Tuesday WFH.
The role
We are looking for an early careers talent acquisition specialist to establish our boutique graduate and internship programmes and apprenticeship scheme.
We are 250 Headcount approximately across London, Italy and Cyprus, and as a Fintech have scaled up our experienced hires significantly, predominantly in our technology and marketing divisions.
We want to build our talent pipeline, create the next gen Ovaler, and have them join us on the journey at this pivotal time in our corporate development. Sourcing from UK institutions; Russel, Red Brick, with a specific focus internationally on local universities in Turin, Italy.
The initial pilot will focus on our Technology and Marketing divisions, but with the success of this rollout, we hope to be able to support the rest of the business with this initiative.
This will be a low volume, high touch role as we want to take the time to invest in the talent we onboard.
To do
Develop graduate and intern recruitment strategies, assessment, selection, and development
Facilitate the training and development path for interns and graduates
Create the apprenticeship levy scheme, selecting a 3rd party programme provider and managing SLA’s
Create forums for feedback and reviews with senior leadership team and sponsors in the business
Schedule weekly catch ups with individual early careers joiners
Design a review process, and conduct exit interviews, establishing a forum to feedback to the business where we can improve process, and deliver successful conversion to permanent employees
Introduce cohort and buddy programmes, and mentoring schemes
Be a brand ambassador and raise brand awareness among early careers demographic
Be the champion to the business, with regular catch ups, to build appetite and sponsorship for the programme
Success will be measured as the resource integrates seamlessly with our workforce planning
Key member of the TA team, and broader HR team, we’re small but friendly!
About you:
Previous experience designing and implementing early careers programmes for technology, and possibly marketing
Experience in campus marketing and event management, other sourcing methodologies
Assessment and selection internship program, on and off cycle
Experience designing and invigilating assessment centres
Excellent project management skills
Process design and delivery
Stakeholder management
Italian language skills would be an advantage
Regular Travel to Turin, Italy required
