Outsource Accounting Specialist Miami Valley

The Outsource Accounting Group at Clark Schaefer Hackett is hiring an Outsource Accounting Specialist in our Miami Valley office. This will be a Part time / 30 hours per week, benefits eligible position. The ideal candidate will have proven full charge accounting / bookkeeping skills, payroll and QuickBooks expertise, with the ability to manage client relationships.

Working closely with Senior Management, the professional in this role will provide a broad spectrum of accounting, financial reporting, and payroll services to our clients. This role will also include addressing client issues/questions as they arise and provide problem resolution as needed.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Reconcile monthly bank statement and post adjustments
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy/completeness of financial data
• Assist clients with software support related to QuickBooks and Accounting CS
• Perform and review payroll services for clients
• Manage client relationships

• A minimum of three years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience required
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks is required and Accounting CS experience preferred
• Bachelor or Associate degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience) required
• General tax knowledge (sales, payroll, 1040, 1120) preferred
