We are currently looking for Back-End Developers to join our growing E-Commerce team in Toronto! You will be involved in many exciting and innovative projects designed to the industry forward and enhance our clients’ experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, test, deliver and support new and existing software features and functionality in the products that adapt to the changing requirements and expectations

Work with the Technical Lead on technical decisions and technical designs

Work in a team environment that keeps the server / back-end layer latest and ready for performance challenges

Build APIs and participate in projects that integrate with other systems

Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams throughout the software development life cycle including but not limited to gathering requirements and resolving issues

Coding of software and ensuring an exceptional user experience

Review, test, and document software functionality

Analyze, debug, and resolve defects and/or production issues

Skills and Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience on Java 8+, JUnit, Maven

3+ years of experience building server-side application using Spring framework / Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, REST API

Experience with Spring Cloud (Microservices), Message Queue, Redis, Domain Driven Design, XML, JSON

Experience with RDBMS and NoSql – MySQL, MSSQL and MongoDB

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Flexibility and creativity in solution design – including leveraging emerging technologies
