ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary:
The Digital Product and Technology Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting, screening, and recommending placement of technology and software engineering department staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).
This is a hybrid remote position, 3 days in Park Avenue South office / 2 days work from home.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for the technology and software engineering department to attract top talent and adapt the approach with each posting’s search, to increase applicant funnel of suitable candidates
- Provide strategic guidance and serve as a talent advisor to share market intelligence, effective and creative recruitment techniques and provide guidance and consultation to improve recruitment experience for Hiring Managers
- Develop a strong understanding of the business to build familiarity with technical requirements
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements)
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Partners with Hiring Managers to determine staffing needs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition; a mix of full cycle in-house and agency experience is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year experience and proven track record of success in specialized technology recruitment including direct sourcing of software engineers and digital product managers
- Strong understanding of and passion for recruiting for technology, software engineering, data science, digital product and UX design
- Can-do attitude, team player mindset, and appropriate sense of urgency required
- Must be a self-starter and effective problem solver; able to multi-task, prioritize projects, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must have hospitality and customer service focus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a cross-functional team
