Osmose is currently seeking an entry level Accounting Analyst. The Accounting Analyst is an essential member of the corporate Accounting team. This role keeps records, maintains financial reports and ledgers, prepares various accounting reports and compiles data, assist with various accounting functions, and maintains overall general bookkeeping.

*This is NOT a remote position, but may have some flexibility to work from our Midtown Atlanta office.*

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries daily, monthly, and quarterly.
• Prepare established account roll forwards, reconciliations, and/or analysis.
• Keep track of company fixed assets within Sage Premier Depreciation software, including additions, disposals, and monthly report generation for accounting and the tax department.
• Maintain accurate reconciliations for a variety of balance sheet accounts with variances researched and resolved.
• Extract and compile audit data and information requested by various external parties.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s defined key financial controls.
• General support to the Senior Accountants, Accounting Manager, and the Director of Accounting Operations.
• Assist Accounts Payable with systematic invoice approval.
• Other responsibilities as determined by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent related experience. Will consider recent graduate.
• Hands-on experience with accounting ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
• Ability to multi-task, to be organized, efficient, accurate and to be accountable to job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially MS-Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.).
• Able to handle and prioritize multiple time constrained duties at once.
