The Situation:

The Director, Talent Acquisition, reporting to VP, Talent Acquisition and Development, is responsible to oversee, recommend, execute, and lead our overall talent acquisition strategy. Including the full life cycle of talent acquisition; from sourcing, to attraction, to building and growing the team. In addition, you will create partnerships with schools as well as other associations, and ensuring we have efficient and effective processes, methodologies, and technology in place to identify, assess and select the best people. This requires a motivated and experienced recruitment professional to build a best-in-class talent acquisition team and lead our efforts in recruitment marketing, recruitment technologies, employment branding, social recruiting, campus relations, internship programs, and the candidate experience.

• Lead all recruitment efforts from beginning to end, develop and implement best practice talent acquisition strategies that enable the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of qualified talent
• Proactive Talent Hunter who creates and evolves efficient and productive talent acquisition strategies
• Drives execution: Takes risks, learn from their mistakes, builds trust and is a role model to others. Has a “hands-on” style; is aggressive in achieving desired results
• Report on key recruiting metrics (KPI’s) to measure team effectiveness, manage capacity and provide actionable insights
• Create informed hiring strategies through data-driven recruitment by leveraging and evolving key talent acquisition metrics and analytics
• Measuring efficiencies using KPI analysis to continuously evolve and improve of operational processes
• Lead all recruitment efforts from beginning to end, develop and implement best practice talent acquisition strategies that enable the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of qualified talent
• Managing all operational processes and practices of the talent acquisition team, including process optimization

What we’re looking from you:

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition at a senior level
• Minimum of 10+ experience in fast paced high-volume retail
• Experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding
• Understand selection methods and techniques
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing and organizational skills
• Experience with progressive recruitment technology, social media and professional platforms
• Managing talent acquisition budget
