OSI Group Hiring for Shipping &Receiving Assistant Supervisor at Riverside, CA Full Time

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the position is designed to oversee the operation of plant’s shipping and receiving day-to day functions while working side-by-side with team members to attain daily demands. Functions include but are not limited to loading and unloading materials, handling distribution to Production team, processing invoices, maintaining inbound and outbound logs and records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Shipping and Receiving make certain pack dates, product shipped and received are in order.
• Stage orders per purchasing order and are itemized per FIFO (First In First Out)
• Ensuring Inbound and Outbound orders are meticulously counted
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager for an execution plan daily
• Provide support in the absence of a team member or clerk.
• Perform general managerial functions in the absence of Warehouse Manager
• Responsiveness to make decisions under fast paced environment
• Inform and ensure drivers trailer temperature and cleanliness are to plant standards prior to loading finished product
• Verify shipment of transferred pallets from cooler to loading dock are accurately recorded
• Validate packing slip of unloaded shipments both match, record results in plant’s database
• Inspect and raw material anomalies to Warehouse and QA Managers promptly
• Validate materials are properly stored in recorded bin locations

Salary Range $44,120 – $81,940
