The Licensed Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs associated with residential buildings’ plumbing system in a safe and timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain plumbing systems and components while ensuring accuracy to detailed maintenance s and documentation.
· Complete daily safety inspection of the workplace and any problems to the management to ensure that the company quality policy standards are met.
· Read and understand blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, piping system requirements and sizing.
· Troubleshoot plumbing systems, test for leaks and other problems, replace defective equipment and plumbing systems, such as sinks and toilets.
· Install pipes and fixtures, locate and mark positions for pipe connections, cut opening walls and floors to accommodate pipe fitting, passage holes and fixtures.
· Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
· Maintain a working knowledge following health and safety standards, complying with all building codes, changes in technology and repair techniques.
· Participate in renovation projects involving plumbing changes and/or additions.
· Perform any other plumbing functions, assigned tasks and projects which may be assigned from time to time.
